The Problem
The outdated Point-of-Sale (POS) could not meet the changing customer needs and operational requirements. Café Bateel wanted a robust technology partner that can fill gaps in their existing FOH operations and continue to meet customer needs for the foreseeable future.
  • Time-consuming tech implementation – Implementing tech processes at a new outlet took a lot of time and manual effort, making the roll-out cumbersome.
  • Redundant legacy technology – The POS was ill-equipped to efficiently serve special customer requests like generating duplicate bills, bill split, and reprinting.
  • Manual reconciliation of online orders – The online orders from delivery platforms required re-punching in the POS. The process took up additional time and resources along with causing discrepancies in reporting.
